my passion
About a year and a half ago, I entered a contest on a website called Fanlib. It was a scriptwriting contest. And I had a lot of fun.
I started writing even more for the site, and began having even more fun. And, I began making some great friends through the site. They were all people that were in similiar situations as myself, and were all having the time of their lives writing.
Then, the unthinkable…the site shut down.
Fortunately, though, that didn’t stop us. Nine of us came up with the wacky idea of writing a book, and self-publishing it.
And we did.
Then we did it again.
And it was amazing. I never felt so alive, and I know they felt the same way. And that’s how our group, The G10 Writers, was born.
A strange thing came from this experience, and it took my friend, Jamey, to bring it to my attention. I was always at my happiest when I was writing. When I wasn’t writing, and stuck in the doldrums of every day life, I sunk in depression.
The moment he informed me of his observation was one of those “WOW” moments. It was a wakeup call, and I needed to heed it.
And now you know my passion.
